Tennis Club
We have an active social tennis club in the Village.
Members play all year round, and very rarely give in to the weather!
The Tennis Courts are at the Rec, which is down a drive on the left-hand side of the Whitestone Road as you leave the village.
Anyone can join the club by paying a small annual subscription fee, use of the court thereafter is free. You can join as an individual or a family with reduced rates available for juniors/students and the unwaged. As a member you can also participate in the club sessions which are on Sundays between 10.30am and 12.00 and on Wednesdays from 4.30pm throughout the year.
The School and Youth Club also use the Courts during the week, but there is always room for people to come and have a game.
Many people think that Tennis Clubs can be a bit stuffy, but that is not how we do things in Tedburn! We are a very informal group, with no dress code or complicated rules, and people of all levels and standards enjoy the game.
Membership Fees: full year April to March, or pro rata
Individual members: £70 pa
Enhanced individual membership* £90 pa
Family membership: £140 pa
Enhanced family membership* £150 pa
Concessionary rates of 50% of above fees are available to under 18s, Students or recipients of universal credit
*Enhanced membership enables you to bring a guest(s) throughout the year. This is intended to be used for visiting friends and family members and should not be used as an alternative to becoming a full member.

Court hire for guests of members:
You may play with guests on a casual basis. Fees for adults £5.00 per person, per session and concessions £2.50 per person per session. Please pay by BACs to Account number 02781863 Sort code: 60-83-71 and add your initials to the reference
Court hire for non members:
Please email tedurntennisclub@gmail.com to book a court and obtain the padlock code.
Adults £15 per hour (2-4 persons)
Concessions £7.50 per hour
It is possible to scheduled several sessions at a time should you wish. Fees refunded if membership follows.
