Request for Tenders for Grass Cutting Contract

REQUEST FOR TENDERS FOR GRASS CUTTNG CONTRACT

Our previous contractors are no longer able to cut our grass. We are looking for a competent new contractor who could take on this work on the 2 year contract initially. We require our grass to be cut twice a month between April 1st and October 31st. We will also occasionally wish to ask for extra cuts. The area consists of the cricket pitch and surround, the children’s playground and gym equipment area and the grass verges around the tennis courts and the driveway (not including the lane). (Occasionally additional strimming may be required for which additional payment would be made). Anyone bidding for this contract must have public liability insurance (£5 million) and will need grass cutting machinery suitable to the area.  

The tender price should include all labour, expenses, equipment and signage. Grass clippings can be left on the field. The Contractor shall accept responsibility for compliance with Health and Safety at work Act and all other Acts and regulations in respect of the work. We will require that the names and contact details of two persons who can provide references be passed to us.
